How You Can Help PDF  | Print |  E-mail

Our work depends massively on contributions from people like you. Whether you are making a single donation or a small monthly payment or sparing time to volunteer, you are making a difference to people’s lives. There are many ways in which you can contribute to help sustain our services. Here are ways in which you can contribute to ensure that our work continues. If you would like to support us, we would be delighted to hear from you.

Individuals
1. Make a one-off donation, using the PDF form downloadable here or online through everyclick.com here (http://www.everyclick.com/african-future-development/398173/0/info). If you are a UK taxpayer, fill in the Gift Aid declaration and increase your gift at no cost to yourself.

2. Make a monthly or annual donation by setting up a standing order with your bank using the PDF form downloadable here. You can also Gift Aid these donations.

3. You can make a regular gift to African Future Development through your pay packet by just telling your employer how much you want to give and how often. Your gift is then transferred to African Future Development from your pre-tax wage without you having to do anything else. Ask your employer for information about payroll giving or go to www.inlandrevenue.gov.uk/payrollgiving for more info.

4. Raise money just by searching the web! www.everyclick.com is an internet search engine which donates half its revenues to charity! Just make www.everyclick.com/african-future-development/398173/0 your home page or search engine and make sure you use it whenever you search the web! Each time you use it, it raises funds for us. It does not cost you a penny so please use it to support African Future Development. You can also shop or set up a sponsorship page to raise funds for AFD projects.

5. Have you got unwanted mobile phones cluttering up your drawers and cupboards? Give them to us and we can recycle them to raise money towards running the school. You will also be helping to make the environment better, as the phones will be disposed of responsibly. Just hand your unwanted phones into the office desk.

6. Interested in volunteering? If so, we would be interested in meeting you. We welcome people who want to help us help others.

Schools and Companies
We collect unwanted educational resources from schools and equipments and goods from companies and hospitals in the UK for using at our supplementary school and shipping to Africa. Therefore, we really appreciate if you could contact us when you are about to dispose any of the above.

Thank you
